Revealing faces

 

Is a presentation of new works by photographer Raphael Senzamici, which merge digital photography, 

drawing, and painting.

 

In his work, psyche meets technology. Raphael uses traditional materials, forms, and iconography to create 

expressive portraits that reveal personalities – real and imagined. 

 

For example, he describes his mother-in-law as “a fireball from Dublin,’’ so he gave her flaming red hair and

Irish lace of stone. His acquaintance “Willow”, a giant man with a beard, is portrayed as the 16th–

century seer and prophet Nostradamus.
